Slow Road to Dubbo

Almost on a whim, Laura and I took a small trip to Dubbo one weekend a few months back. The further you venture out, the more this crazy country will greet you with it’s open fields and landscapes. You tend to forget amidst all the skyscrapers and cafes that there’s a whole different world out there a few hours west. Occasionally, we’d stop to pull over on the side of the road to just soak in the atmosphere; the clean air, luscious fields, and the almost eerie silence, and of course to pet the cows.

You go alright, Australia.
